Katana by Kiyomitsu Katana, Bizen no Kuni ju Osa, 26.6 inch koto (1500’s) This is a splendid katana by the Koto smith Bizen no Kuni ju Osafune Kiyomitsu. The blade is suriage and the signature has had the kanji Kiyomitsu cut off. The blade has a midare suguha with nijuba, floating line of nie and other activity with mokume hada. The blade papered with 70 points to Sue Bizen Osafune Kiyomitsu with the advice to polish the blade. The blade has Army 1886 pattern Company Officers grade kyu-gunto mounts with a gold washed copper habaki. Asking $3200 inventory 10/01/4B David McDonald jswords@mcn.net
